Hello, and welcome to my solitary corner of the internet! 

As my home page says, my name is Jade Marmorstein and I am a software engineer with experience in game development and frontend/web development, as well as a passionate digital artist.

I graduated from the University of Arizona in 2021 with a Bachelor's of Science degree in Computer Science, additionally minoring in Chinese, Japanese, and Business Administration. I worked professionally for 2 years on educational games, primarily developing in Unity, before pivoting to the travel industry where I have worked largely on front end web development, with some full stack work as well. 

My interest in the travel industry stems from being an avid traveler myself - ever since a formative high school trip to Europe, I've had an unquenchable wanderlust and constantly seek my next opportunity to hop on a plane. To date, I've been to at least 20 countries, and aim to keep increasing that number.

I am also constantly creating art. Whether it's illustration, comics or games, I always have several creative projects happening at once! I've been drawing for as long as I can remember and have been creating comics since middle school, so art has been a deep and lifelong passion. My head is constantly full of ideas!

Besides my constant creating, I'm also a metalhead. I'm obsessed with metal music! I love going to concerts and I've been playing drums and percussion since I was 10 years old.
